What Do NFL Players Do After Retirement?

More than a decade ago, the founder of Pro Players’ Business (PPB) asked a simple question:

Why doesn’t the NFL have a true business networking platform to help former players?

The answer came in 2015.

That’s when Pro Players’ Business was launched. It began as a way for former NFL players to leverage the high-level relationships they built in college, in their hometowns, during their playing days, and long after their careers ended—within a trusted, verified platform designed to create income opportunities beyond football.

OUR MISSION

Pro Players’ Business empowers members to leverage their reputations and relationships to create meaningful supplemental income opportunities.

Every opportunity within PPB is backed by clear contractual agreements that validate the business relationship, establish compensation in advance, and ensure transparency and protection for all parties involved.

A message from Founder Brad Leggett:

“Many former athletes struggle with managing the next chapter of their lives once the action on the field ends.

For many professional athletes, all we’ve ever done was play the game we loved. For me it was Pop Warner, to high school, to college football at USC and then several years in the NFL.

At some point playing comes to an end. For all of us. Then we have to reinvent ourselves. A lot of guys, including myself, struggled with that.

You ask yourself, “What am I going to do now? Where am I going to get that juice to get up every morning that I had when it was about football?”

The idea for Pro Players’ Business came to me when I was helping a law firm meet former NFL players for a concussion lawsuit they
were preparing. As I kept making more and more introductions, I thought wouldn’t it be great to create a business networking site where guys can leverage each other’s contacts. And get rewarded for making those connections.”

With over 15,000 former NFL players already registered in the network, the momentum and money being paid to participants continue to grow.

In fact, thanks to the success of the program, we’ve now opened up registration to the NFL players’ friends and family.

If you have contacts in the medical space or food and beverage industry, you’re welcome to register for Pro Players’ Business and see if your connection is a fit.

Simply click here to register, and we’ll send you the information about the program and how to get started.
